Position Summary:

• This position is responsible for the direction, regulatory compliance, and financial performance of FCS Radiation Oncology Services.
• These departments' primary modalities include Varian treatment machines, CT simulation and HDR. May include other services by location, i.e., Brachytherapy, Radioimmunotherapy.
• Mentor and provide training for all staff on all aspects of technology.
• Assure safe staffing levels, annual and probationary performance evaluations and leads performance improvement and Quality Assurance initiatives.
• The Director is also responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of federal and state statutes, governing the provision of Radiation Oncology to maintain current knowledge of them.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• Education : AS or BS in Radiology Sciences required; Master's degree preferred
• Previous Experience:
• Three to five years of medical office experience required
• A minimum of three years' experience as RTT.
• Five years prior healthcare/radiation oncology leadership required, ten years preferred

• Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Effectively lead and facilitate group discussions, coach, mentor, motivate, and engage others to align to a common goal.
• Ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment.
• Human Resources Management: Effectively hire, coach and support staff develop, as applicable, as well as manage resources, performance and employee relations, and supervise within established policies, procedures and legislation.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.
• Certifications/Licenses:
• AART Certification in Radiologic Science and/or Radiation Therapy Certification
• Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
