As our Physical Therapist, you will: Evaluate residents and develop individualized therapy treatment plans Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and independence Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), aides, and students Participate in care conferences, rehab meetings, and quality improvement initiatives Educate residents and families on exercises, safety techniques, and fall prevention Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations Assist with restorative nursing programs and staff training Recommend adaptive equipment and mobility aids to improve resident independence Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Current license in good standing New Grads encourage to apply! CPR Certification (if required by licensure) Skilled in communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred Why The Pines at Placerville?
