Accounting Specialist- OMAHA, NE, $20/hr+ Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment. Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation. Enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies. Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. Accounts Receivable Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and follow up on overdue invoices. Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues. Communicate collection efforts to management from aging report data. Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities. General Accounting Support Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports. Prepare reports and spreadsheets as required by management. Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
