Patient Experience Specialist (Remote)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Standard Day Shift

About the Role Are you a compassionate, organized healthcare professional who thrives on building trust with patients and keeping clinical schedules running smoothly?

We are seeking a proactive Patient Experience Specialist to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for elderly Medicare patients managing chronic conditions. You will educate them on their covered care benefits, clear up hesitations, and partner with assigned nurse care pods to book initial clinical visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Outreach & Trust-Building: Conduct ~60 outbound calls daily to Medicare patients to explain their care benefits, answer questions, and address common hesitations or scam concerns with empathy and patience.

• Appointment Scheduling: Manage calendars for 3 assigned nurse care teams, locking in initial clinical visits to meet a target of 5 booked appointments per day.

• Patient Prioritization: Work through monthly rosters to prioritize high-risk and vulnerable patients, maintaining persistent follow-ups in the system.

• Care Pod Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff and administrative teams to ensure seamless handoffs and scheduling accuracy.

Qualifications

• Location: Must reside in Arizona, preferrably in the Tucson or Phoenix metropolitan areas.

• Experience: 2+ years in a medical office, clinic, patient intake, care coordination, or healthcare scheduling role.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus).

• Note: Active Medical Assistant (MA) certification is NOT required.

• Bilingual Skills: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, calendar management, and standard office software.

• Mindset: Exceptional phone presence, high empathy for elderly populations, strong organizational stamina, and comfort navigating fast-paced environments.
