Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in GRAND PRAIRIE, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Complete accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
