Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Batesville, MS. The Assistant Manager supports daily restaurant operations, including supervising team members, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role helps manage shift scheduling, monitors customer service performance, and assists with training and coaching team members to uphold Chick-fil-A’s hospitality standards. The Assistant Manager collaborates with leadership to meet sales and operational goals, manages cash handling and inventory tasks, and addresses guest concerns in a timely, professional manner. This position also contributes to fostering a positive workplace culture and supports local community engagement efforts led by the restaurant Operator. Qualifications Experience in food service or retail operations, with skills in shift management, cash handling, and basic inventory control. Strong leadership abilities, including team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution, and performance feedback. Customer service skills focused on hospitality, clear communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet operational deadlines. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Comfort with on-your-feet work, following food safety and cleanliness standards, and complying with company policies. Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred; restaurant or quick-service management experience is a plus.
