Role Description The Department Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Mount Pleasant, SC, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within assigned store departments. This role includes leading and supporting store associates, organizing merchandise displays, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that company standards for presentation, cleanliness, and safety are maintained. The Department Supervisor helps coordinate workflow, assigns tasks, and provides coaching to team members to ensure excellent customer service. This position also assists with opening and closing procedures, supports sales initiatives, and collaborates with store leadership to achieve departmental and store performance goals. Qualifications Experience in retail or customer-facing environments, with the ability to deliver courteous, efficient service to diverse customers. Supervisory or team lead experience, including assigning tasks, coaching staff, and supporting a positive, inclusive work environment. Basic knowledge of merchandising, inventory handling, and store presentation standards in a fast-paced retail setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and store leadership. Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and perform routine physical tasks required in retail operations. Reliable time management and organization skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple responsibilities during busy shifts. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in department supervision or similar roles is an advantage.
