Bring your speech-language expertise to a vibrant school setting, partnering with dedicated educators and supporting students from preschool through 5th grade. As a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll make a meaningful difference assisting children with mild to moderate speech and language needs, all while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California is required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptable and compassionate approach to working with young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech and language delays or disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Serve a diverse caseload across preschool through 5th grade, focusing on mild to moderate needs
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Engage in regular communication with teachers, families, and related service providers
This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week on a standard Monday through Friday schedule. You'll be instrumental in promoting language development and helping children succeed academically and socially.
