Work Environment

Our clinic fosters a warm and collaborative atmosphere where the health and well-being of our patients always come first. As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite alongside interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring that patients receive consistent therapy and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical condition, including strength, mobility, and functional limitations, utilizing advanced assessment tools.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans, integrating therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and neuromuscular re-education to address specific patient needs.
• Incorporate specialized modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or heat therapy into treatment regimens for enhanced recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation strategies, home exercise programs, and prevention techniques to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Communicate effectively with diverse respondents, providing clear information to patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals about treatment progress and changes.
• Document all patient interactions, progress, and changes to treatment plans in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at ProFlex, you will be working primarily with orthopedic patients who are recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing chronic pain. Our diverse patient population includes athletes, active individuals, and older adults. You will be instrumental in addressing their unique rehabilitation needs, ensuring that personalized care leads to meaningful recovery and the restoration of physical independence.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and professional colleagues.
• Ability to create and adjust treatment plans tailored to individual patient conditions and recovery goals.
• Commitment to continued professional development and staying current with industry trends and treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

• Experience working in a team-oriented healthcare environment, specifically collaborating with other rehabilitation professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
