Schedule-Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 2pm-12am

Facility Overview

• Licensed beds: 373 (344 acute, 29 inpatient rehab)

  • ED: 30 beds | ICU: 46 beds | PCU: 40 beds | Observation: 70 beds | OR Suites: 14

• No trauma designation; TJC Stroke accredited

• Services: X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine (with Radiology Nursing support)

• Radius rule: Permanent address 50+ miles from facility

Department Highlights

• Inpatient census: ~400

• Volume: 160 studies/weekday, 120/weekend

• Minimum 2 years experience; first-time travelers accepted

• No floating

• Support: Guest Services/Transport for inpatients & observation patients

• EMR: Epic | RIS: Epic Radiant | PACS: Philips iSite

• Equipment: 3 Siemens CT scanners (Definition AS 40, Force, Edge+); Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors

Patient Population & Procedures
ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases. Performs CT-guided invasive procedures, cases with anesthesia, and cardiac CT (day shift, 7 days/week).

Key Requirements & Skills

• ARRT(R) with advanced CT registry

• BLS

• Start peripheral IVs

• Venous/arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning

• Stroke imaging (including perfusion), colorectal studies

• TeraRecon knowledge preferred

Shift & Scheduling Details (13-week contracts)

• Shift : 10-hour Evening (40 hours/week) Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 2pm-12am

• On-Call : 2-3 shifts/month

• Weekends : None

• Holidays : Work 75%

• RTO : Per facility policy

Orientation

• Admin onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policies): 1 day

• Departmental: 2 days to 1 week (includes weekdays as needed)
