Description Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients through standardized assessments and careful observations. Create customized treatment plans that target immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions with a primary focus on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Work collaboratively alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to forge holistic care strategies. Educate patients and their families to support progress beyond clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, maintaining a seamless continuum of care. Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Stay abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing education and peer collaboration. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods suitable for all ages, along with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exemplary interpersonal skills for communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to tailor therapy approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
