Job Overview

Position Highlights:
• We are in search of a Board Certified Trauma Surgeon to guide a dedicated team focused on trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care, collaborating with both physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Join a 510-bed non-profit teaching hospital recognized as a Level II trauma center, utilizing Epic EMR enhanced with AI capabilities.
• Candidates must hold American board certification in General Surgery and have completed a fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care.
• As a key member of the clinical team, you will also serve as the Medical Director for the program. Leadership experience is essential. Your duties will encompass attending meetings, spearheading process improvement efforts, managing staff schedules and on-call duties, enforcing policies and procedures, fostering team engagement, and overseeing the overall program.
