Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for tele and in‑patient services. Lead clinic staff, modeling behaviors, actions and attitude (e.g., X‑ray technologists, nurses, front‑office specialists) to deliver excellent patient care. Perform responsibilities stated in the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services. Engage with clinical leadership and elevate concerns to management to ensure strong patient care and resolution. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner, forwarding charts as appropriate on a daily basis. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations, focusing on safety, cost, and accurate information. Ensure activities are consistent with department expectations and comply with Federal and State regulations, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment in both the clinic and virtual settings. Prioritize telehealth patient queue to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, and responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Follow clinical practice guidelines issued by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Complete all mandatory compliance training to maintain quality of care. Adhere to the core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend improvements to clinic and telehealth leadership. Communicate regularly with the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees, facilitate introductions and clinic tours, and support their training. Maintain friendly, cordial relations with clients and employees, fostering a positive work atmosphere. Utilize physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions required for the position. Comply with company standards of operations and confidentiality. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Proven experience as a telehealth clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees: minimum 4 shifts per month; Full‑time employees: 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Ancillary providers: on‑call duties periodically throughout the year. Ancillary Provider Levels Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner. Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience. Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience. Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience. Experience Requirements and Preferences Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). Experience: At least 1–2 years as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice (strongly preferred). Current license or certification: Active license, DEA in good standing, and verifiable with proper regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; may be obtained within 120 days for providers meeting state requirements. DOT certification required for FT and PT providers within 120 days of employment.
