Corporate Associate Attorney

I'm working directly with an AmLaw 20 firm looking to add a 4th-6th year Corporate / M&A Associate to its Dallas team. And this is not a 'we'll take a look if the perfect resume happens to appear' search. They want someone. Estimated Base: $310K-$390K + discretionary bonus M&A | Private Equity | Independent Sponsors The sweet spot: Someone who has spent the last few years working with private equity funds, independent sponsors and portfolio companies and is ready to operate as a true midlevel/senior associate - not just execute one piece of a transaction. They’re looking for experience with: Leading M&A deals from inception through closing Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements + key transaction documents Private equity / independent sponsor transactions Majority + minority equity investments Capital raises, debt and securities offerings Operating agreements + partnership agreements Managing deal teams and training junior associates In other words: they want someone who can run the deal, understand the client, manage the moving pieces, and know when something actually matters. Strong academics + Texas Bar required.
