IT Technician II

Job Overview Provide mentorship and direction to the Information Systems Technicians and support business objectives. Work closely with IT management to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Highlights of your role Assist in the administration and support of Network and Systems Management. Assist in managing security and support of SharePoint site Participate in IT project development, solution modeling, and execution. Participate as a member of the Helpdesk to log and resolve support incidents. Participate as a member of the work order system to log labor, order parts and equipment, create and close IS Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on network equipment, servers, computers, printers, scanners, and other devices. Provides direct support by phone, email, and in person for on-site and off-site end-users. Configure and install new computers, printers, network devices, and related peripheral devices. Assist in the support and administration of network cabling (install, terminate, and troubleshoot), telephone/voicemail systems, video conferencing, and multi-media A/V equipment. Install and troubleshoot various end user software packages. Maintain and develop documentation and procedures, share knowledge and effectively communicate with end users, team members, and management. Research, analyze, and test Information Systems solutions and assist in training of end-users. Assist with efficiency and cost reduction in Information Systems areas. Participate in on-call support You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Associate degree in computer/network support and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based clients and servers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with networking devices, principals, and protocols. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP. Knowledge of IT Infrastructure security Training in scissor and boom lift is required (ability to access network connections and equipment for installation, troubleshooting, and repair).
