Job Opportunity
We are seeking qualified healthcare professionals for a position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a leading hospital in Cleveland, OH. This role is for night shifts, with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 months of professional experience in the specialty, specifically in epilepsy monitoring and the specialized care of patients aged up to 25 years. Candidates are required to hold a valid Permanent Ohio license or a Compact State license at the time of application.
Qualifications
- Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the Pediatric Intensive Care specialty.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
- Experience with EKGs and inotropes is mandatory.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
- Must work at least every other holiday.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to recognize ECG rhythms.
- Experience with SafeMedicate is a plus.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
Work Environment
The role involves working with a diverse patient population, providing care in alignment with best practices and hospital policies. Team support from interdisciplinary colleagues is integral to this position.

Continuing Education
Nurses who remain on continuous contracts for a minimum of one year will be required to complete annual competency assessments. Modules and additional training may be required annually.
