Client: Major Clinical Research Client Position: Systems Administrator Duration: 4 months on W2 Pay Rate: $29.00-$33.00/ Hr on W2 Job Description Job Summary Assists in the administration of infrastructure platforms supporting existing and emerging technologies to ensure system compatibility, performance, and business alignment. This role supports data centers, servers, storage, virtualization, messaging, Citrix, cloud platforms, and global IT infrastructure. Essential Functions Perform Windows Server administration, including installation, upgrades, configuration, tuning, and monitoring. Maintain data storage systems and perform system backups. Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, optimize system performance, install system-wide software, and allocate storage resources. Assess, test, deploy, and document software patches, updates, and new software installations while following established IT processes and procedures. Manage system administration tools including asset inventory, remote access, software license management, server diagnostics, and virtualization technologies. Provide system engineering consultation and application support to IT teams and infrastructure projects. Deliver Tier 2 troubleshooting and technical support for global infrastructure platforms. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Minimum 2 years of relevant systems administration experience . Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in a Windows-based environment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of two or more infrastructure technologies, including Windows/Linux servers, storage, virtualization, data centers, messaging, Citrix, or cloud platforms. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, Linux, and storage environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
