Family-owned and operated CMS 5-Star Rated facility Beautiful historic setting in peaceful East Haddam Supportive team environment with strong leadership Specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s training provided upon hire Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and families CNA Responsibilities: Communicate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure resident well-being Provide care while maintaining dignity, respect, and compassion for every resident Observe and report changes in resident conditions Complete daily electronic documentation in PCC (PointClickCare) Assist residents with mobility, dressing, transfers, and daily activities Operate equipment safely to support resident comfort and independence Adapt care approaches to meet the needs of residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease Key Responsibilities What We’re Looking For: Communicate with unit nurse to ensure the well-being of residents. Ensure dignity and respect of all residents Monitor for changes that may indicate a resident's condition is worsening or improving complete daily flowsheets in electronic record, PCC. Operate equipment to assist residents in moving, dressing, and other activities. Adjust to the needs of patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease by specialized training upon hire and as requested.
