Clinical Nurse OR Seasonal Pool - Single SRO - 135770

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team. BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:

Seasonal 13-week OR assignments available October-March which have a stipend option. MUST live greater than 100 miles from facility to be eligible for seasonal rate. Current assignments available @ multiple locations- assigned O.R - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care. Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments. Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment. The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS is required.
• ACLS is required
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• 18 months RN experience in an acute OR setting is required
• 2 years RN experience in an acute OR setting is strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• Flexibility
