An established, rapidly growing tire company is expanding its field sales team. With more than four decades in business, a global sales and distribution network, and a broad product portfolio, the organization offers the resources to support your success—and the opportunity to make a visible impact.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will build relationships with retail customers, develop new business, and help grow sales throughout your assigned territory. You’ll receive product training, practical tools, and support from an experienced sales team, with opportunities to develop toward broader account responsibility and future sales leadership roles.

The Opportunity

This role combines hands-on territory development with consultative selling. Customers need someone who understands their business, follows through, and helps them make informed decisions about product selection, inventory, and local demand.

Reporting to a Key Account Manager, you will manage regular customer visits, strengthen relationships with store managers and buyers, and identify opportunities to expand product placement and sales volume. Your observations from the field will also help shape account plans and market strategy.

What You’ll Do

Build customer relationships : Conduct regular in-person visits and become a trusted resource for store managers, buyers, and other customer contacts.

Grow your territory : Expand business with existing customers while prospecting and qualifying new accounts.

Sell consultatively : Discuss product mix, inventory needs, market demand, and opportunities to improve sales.

Execute account plans : Support product introductions, promotions, merchandising, and local sales initiatives in collaboration with your Key Account Manager.

Deliver dependable service : Process orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams to address product availability, delivery, and customer concerns.

Bring market insight back to the team : Report competitive activity, pricing, inventory trends, and customer feedback.

Stay organized : Maintain accurate CRM records, plan your customer visits, and follow through on commitments and sales goals.

Represent the business : Participate in trade shows, local events, and promotional activities as needed.

What You Bring

• Ideally, 2+ years of experience in field sales, route/retail sales, or another customer-facing role.
• Strong relationship-building skills and confidence initiating conversations with new contacts.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and earning customer trust.
• The discipline to manage your schedule and territory independently.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn products and apply a structured sales strategy.
• Comfort using a CRM or mobile sales application.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a business-related associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet company driving standards.
• Ability to handle product samples and promotional materials and spend time standing or walking during customer visits.

Tire industry experience is welcome, but it is not required. Sales professionals from other industries who bring commercial instincts, strong follow-through, and a commitment to customer success are encouraged to apply.
