Basketball Coach

This individual will be responsible to work with the head coach to foster a competitive team culture while prioritizing sportsmanship and personal development of student-athletes. Key Responsibilities Help plan, organize, and conduct all varsity-level practices and competitions Develop and implement effective game strategies and training programs Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team environment Mentor student-athletes in skill development, leadership, and character Collaborate with other coaches and athletic department staff Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic regulations Monitor student-athlete academic progress and eligibility Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administration Qualifications Previous coaching experience Strong knowledge of Basketball rules, techniques, and training methods Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills Ability to motivate and connect with student-athletes Preferred Attributes Commitment to sportsmanship, integrity, and student development Ability to promote the program within the school and community Mountain Lake is a Equal Opportunity Employer
