Kubernetes Engineer
Location: Boston, MA (Remote) Duration: Contract
We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to support and manage cloud-native infrastructure in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Kubernetes, AWS services, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices. This role involves maintaining scalable containerized platforms, improving deployment processes, and ensuring reliability and performance across cloud environments.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration (EKS preferred).
- Experience with AWS core services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in Python scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Java and/or Python application architecture.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Dynatrace.
Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
