• Start Date: 03/25/2026 (Start upon credentialing completion)
• End Date/Duration: Multiple coverage periods available (e.g., 6/11-6/15, 12/11-12/14)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9-hour shifts (8 billable hours), plus 15-hour overnight call, 24-hour weekend call
• Hours per Week: Varies based on scheduled shifts
• Employment Type: Locum/Per diem
• License/Certs: Michigan license required; ERCP experience highly preferred
• Experience: At least several years in Gastroenterology, proficiency with endoscopic procedures

Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:

• Perform specialized gastroenterology procedures including ERCP, EGD, colonoscopy, PEG/PEJ tube placement, pH studies, manometry, and sigmoidoscopy
• Manage a caseload of approximately 12 patients per day in well-established endoscopy units
• Review pathology, document findings, and communicate results to patients and nurses
• Work independently without scribe assistance, ensuring accurate charting and completion of all work
• Collaborate with a highly accomplished endoscopy team in a state-of-the-art facility
• Act as the primary provider for GI procedures and patient care during scheduled shifts

What You Need:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Valid Michigan medical license or eligible for licensure
• Proven experience with ERCP (preferred), EUS, and other advanced GI procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage a full schedule efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
