About the Role:

Trauma IMC is a 12-bed Intermediate Care nursing unit with one negative pressure room and 1 equipped with bariatric ceiling lift. As a surgical trauma IMC unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care trauma and surgical patients including but not limited to:

• Trauma patients requiring more frequent monitoring. Which may include advance respiratory support such as BiPap, HiFlo Oxygen, Vapotherm and trached patients requiring chronic ventilator support.
• Trauma surgery and related injuries requiring more frequent monitoring.
• Orthopedic trauma and related injuries requiring more frequent monitoring.
• Trauma Acute Care Surgery patients requiring more frequent monitoring.
• Other Surgical Patients requiring more frequent monitoring admitted by Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (TACS).
• Secondary placement for post tPA patients requiring more frequent monitoring.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
