Company Description Davis & Garratt Insurance is an independent insurance agency based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, serving both businesses and individuals. The agency provides customized insurance solutions for large and small companies, as well as personal lines for individuals and families. With a dedicated team offering over 55 years of combined experience, Davis & Garratt Insurance is able to recommend appropriate coverage options for a wide range of insurance needs. As an independent agency representing more than 30 insurance carriers, the team focuses on tailoring policies to each client’s needs and budget. The culture emphasizes personalized service, professional expertise, and long‑term client relationships. Role Description This is a full-time, on‑site Account Manager role based in Fayetteville, AR. The Account Manager will manage a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients. Daily responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, processing policy changes, preparing quotes and renewal proposals, and coordinating with carriers to obtain competitive coverage options. The role also involves reviewing policies for accuracy, assisting with claims support, maintaining up‑to‑date client records in agency systems, and ensuring timely billing and payments. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with producers and other team members to support client retention, identify cross‑selling opportunities, and provide proactive service that aligns with agency standards. Qualifications Strong client relationship management skills, including clear communication, active listening, and professional phone and email etiquette. Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines accurately. Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace) and willingness to learn agency management and carrier systems. Analytical skills to review coverage options, compare quotes, and identify appropriate insurance solutions for diverse client needs. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, policy processing, and recordkeeping. Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to problem‑solving and delivering responsive, high‑quality service. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a related client‑service role is preferred; familiarity with commercial or personal lines is a plus. Current Property & Casualty insurance license in Arkansas, or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe after hire. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
