Full-Time | Food Manufacturing | Training Provided | $17–$19/Hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Food Production / Batch Operator for a growing food manufacturing company in Claysville, PA .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, operating equipment, following recipes and formulas, and working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment .

No previous food manufacturing experience? Training is provided!

• $17–$19 per hour
• Full-time
• Primarily weekday day shifts
• Occasional weekend work may be required
• Schedule and hours may vary based on production needs
• Comprehensive training provided

As a Batch Operator, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and processing food products according to established recipes, batch formulas, and production standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to batch sheets and production formulas
• Prepare and process batches according to established recipes and specifications
• Operate food production equipment including kettles, mixers, pumps, and other processing equipment
• Monitor cooking temperatures, processing times, and product consistency
• Inspect batches before and after processing to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete batch records, production paperwork, and required documentation
• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sanitize food processing equipment before and after production
• Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP food safety procedures
• Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards throughout the production process
• Work closely with team members to coordinate daily production activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous food manufacturing, food production, batch processing, machine operation, or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately measure ingredients
• Ability to read and follow detailed recipes, formulas, and production instructions
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to stand and remain active for 8–10 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in refrigerated, humid, or changing production environments
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and varying hours based on production needs

Training is provided on:

• Batch sheets and production formulas
• Food safety and sanitation procedures
• GMP and HACCP requirements
• Equipment operation
• Machine assembly and disassembly
• Cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• Production processes and quality standards
