Job Type: Full-time Job Description The estimator position provides customer proposals in accordance with the specifications provided and industry standards. While meeting company timelines and profitability objectives. Essential Functions of the Position Review customer inquiries for quotes from both commercial and technical perspectives. Review Vendor Documentation Requirements (VDR) and customer specifications. Timely preparation of proposals to meet customer specifications. Facilitate customer requests and changes regarding scope, delivery, and commercial aspects. Follow up on proposals prepared to evaluate effectiveness and success. Establish new customer relationships through strategic networking activities. Continuous tracking of projects from inception to their successful completion. Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing departments. Work as customer liaison during project development. Establish and maintain vendor and customer relationships. Analytical review of all closed projects/ proposals for accuracy and profitability. Comply with all Feldmeier safety and Company policies and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. Minimum Qualifications 2-year degree or equivalent sales experience Strong communication skills Willingness to Travel Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or finance Background in engineering or manufacturing Physical Requirements Required to sit, stand, and walk; for up to 8 hours per day. Continuous use of the hand, arm, and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
