About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the commercial function and drive the growth of its healthcare technology platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for closing seven-figure enterprise deals, building a repeatable sales motion, and hiring and designing the commercial team. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the CCO expected to be in the field, engaging directly with key stakeholders and leading the sales process. The CCO will also be tasked with standing up the business development function, educating the market on the company's value proposition, and running the operating cadence with a strong focus on Salesforce discipline. Candidates for the CCO position must have a proven track record in building and scaling a commercial function at a B2B SaaS or health tech company. Essential experience includes personally carrying and hitting a direct quota on enterprise deals with large health systems, managing through at least one layer, and having a strong background in the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate will be a player-coach, with a builder temperament, and a data-driven approach to sales. They should be adept at founder partnership, capable of operating independently, and able to keep a first-time CEO in the loop without causing bottlenecks. The role demands a high level of grit, the ability to work through challenges, and a commitment to a long-term vision for the commercial function.
