Play an essential role in supporting a preschool student's success as a contract paraprofessional. Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or assistant in schools or preschool environments
• Behavior management knowledge strongly preferred
• Comfortable with diaper changing and assisting with basic self-care needs
• For assistant roles, a valid NY Teacher’s Assistant Certificate is required
• For aide positions, prior experience supporting preschoolers and familiarity with behavioral needs is essential
• Approachability, patience, and effective communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with a preschool student, adapting strategies to individual needs
• Provide attentive care and assist with daily living routines as needed
• Support classroom instruction under the direction of certified teachers
• Implement behavioral interventions and positive reinforcement techniques
• Track and communicate student progress to educators and team members
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that prioritizes student growth
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school and district standards
