Associate Director, Integrated Investment

What You’ll Do Relationship Management Showcase anticipation and understanding of projects to maintain and adjust timing of deliverables for the team, communicating changes to managers and leadership. Apply knowledge of clients’ business and industry relationships to enhance plan negotiations and opportunities. Build relationships across Horizon Media departments, building trust and accountability. Act as primary resource for junior team members navigating conversations with internal and external partners and clients. Act as day-to-day resource for client team to ensure prioritization of projects, understanding of goals and media alignment with objectives to drive client business. Team Management and Delegation Manage and develop junior team members, creating growth plans and clear career goals. Manage performance reviews, coaching to maximize success, identifying training needs, setting career development goals. Provide education and training on best practices, media principles, and industry. Participate in interview process for junior team members’ roles. Guide team in ensuring challenging, level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills. Encourage participation in Horizon Media initiatives and larger integrated community. Integrated Media Buying Plan, execute and steward integrated media plans. Guide team to leverage Horizon Media’s planning, evaluation and buying tools for competitive analysis and client strategy. Monitor trends, tools, opportunities and apply knowledge to campaign strategy and client goals. Work with Supervisor to oversee junior team members and manage expectations with integrated leadership in creation of media specific documents. Media Negotiating & Buying Negotiate across traditional linear and digital landscapes. Provide final sign off on RFP creation and partner/site responses; act as escalation point for partner negotiations. Provide strategic guidance as primary resource for team during planning process. Lead collaboration with other Horizon Media teams toward 360 partnerships and incorporate relevant extensions. Reporting & Analysis Act as escalation point for junior members on optimization strategies, communicating challenges and opportunities across all media. Encourage thoughtful data-based conclusions that illustrate the 'why' behind performance and map back to integrated strategy. Collaborate with Business Solutions and Analytics team to establish measurement plans and learning agendas. Who You Are A strong writer, communicator and presenter. A left and right brain thinker. Preferred Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in traditional video buying and/or digital buying. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to present and sell ideas internally and to clients. Leadership and supervisory experience in developing media professionals. Strong grasp of marketing principles, analytics and concepts. Expert in negotiating and constructing video media plans, with knowledge of planning, buying and activation. Strong experience navigating cross-department relationships. Salary Range $105,000.00 – $135,000.00 Benefits Competitive total rewards package including discretionary bonus.
