Wealth Manager

Quotient Wealth Partners

Experience Quotient Wealth Partners! We are a modern, growth-minded organization committed to investing in the personal, professional, and financial development of our team. Our culture is rooted in excellence, collaboration, humility, integrity, compassion, and responsible stewardship. What We Offer You Quotient Wealth Partners provides a competitive benefits package, a hybrid 4-1 work schedule with Fridays as optional work-from-home, firm support for advanced designations and continuing education, exposure to sophisticated planning work across our corporate executive and family office client base, and a culture that encourages entrepreneurial thinking and continuous improvement. The Role We are seeking an experienced Wealth Manager to serve as the primary advisor on an assigned book of client relationships. You are the advisor of record for those households and are ultimately responsible for managing each relationship — the advice, the plan, the service experience, and the outcome. This is a planning-led advisory role, not a business development role, and deep, demonstrated command of financial planning across every planning discipline is a requirement of this seat, not a preference. You will lead the relationship end to end and own the outcome. As the client’s primary advisor and their advocate inside the firm, you will set the direction for each household, run review meetings, own and advance the financial plan, direct investment and tax strategy, resolve service needs, and make sure every commitment the firm makes to a client is delivered on time. Our Investment, Tax Strategy, Insurance, Estate, and Client Service teams work in support of your plan — you decide when to bring them in, and the relationship remains yours to manage regardless of who performs the work. New business development — prospecting, pipeline, and closing — sits with our founding partners and Lead Advisors. This position does not carry a sales quota, production target, or new-business payout grid. Client referrals and the consolidation of held-away assets that arise naturally from strong relationships are welcomed and recognized, but generating new business is not a condition of the role. Success in this seat is measured by relationship depth and durability — client retention, client satisfaction, the quality and currency of the financial plans you deliver, and flawless service execution — not by new assets raised. What You’ll Do Relationship Management & Client Experience Serve as the primary advisor of record for an assigned book of client households, ultimately responsible for the health, direction, and retention of each relationship. Own the client relationship calendar — proactive outreach, review meeting cadence, milestone and life-event touchpoints — so no household goes untended. Lead client review meetings end to end, including agenda setting, preparation, delivery, and documented follow-up. Act as the client’s advocate inside the firm: triage questions, own escalations through resolution, and close the loop every time. Deepen relationships across the household — spouses, adult children, trustees, and family entities — to strengthen continuity across generations. Coordinate with clients’ outside professionals — CPAs, estate attorneys, insurance carriers, and corporate benefits contacts — so advice stays aligned across the relationship. Maintain complete, current, and compliant relationship records in the firm’s CRM, including meeting notes, action items, and updated profile and suitability information. Own, build, update, and present comprehensive financial plans spanning retirement income, cash flow, tax strategy, risk management, education funding, charitable giving, and estate and wealth transfer. Model and advise on executive compensation and benefits decisions common to our client base — RSUs, ISOs and NSOs, ESPP, non-qualified deferred compensation, pension lump-sum versus annuity elections, net unrealized appreciation (NUA), and concentrated stock positions. Translate technical analysis into clear, plain-language recommendations clients can act on with confidence. Direct the specialist teams supporting the relationship — Investment, Tax Strategy, Insurance and Risk, Estate Planning, and Healthcare and Family Support — bringing each in at the right time. Track every recommendation through to implementation, driving Client Service and Operations until each item is closed. Serve as the point of accountability for the quality, suitability, and consistency of the advice delivered to your households, within the firm’s standards and Investment Committee guidance. Implement and monitor client portfolios in accordance with the firm’s investment policy statements, model guidance, and Investment Committee direction. Review portfolios for allocation drift, cash needs, tax-loss harvesting opportunities, cost basis considerations, and required minimum distributions; prepare rebalancing and trade recommendations for review and approval. Explain portfolio positioning, performance reporting, and market context in a way that is accurate, transparent, and designed to reinforce long-term discipline. Partner with the Investment team on household-level asset location, concentrated position management, and diversification planning. Own the client onboarding experience — account opening, transfers, funding, and first-year touchpoints — in partnership with Client Service Associates and Operations. Oversee ongoing service delivery, including money movement, beneficiary maintenance, distributions, and document requests, holding the firm to its service standards. Coordinate consolidation of held-away assets when clients elect to bring additional accounts to the firm. Identify recurring service friction and contribute to process improvements that make the client experience more efficient and repeatable across offices. Mentor associate advisors and client service team members; contribute to internal training, case discussions, and knowledge sharing. Governance & Compliance Uphold the firm’s fiduciary duty in all client interactions, placing client interests first at all times. Follow firm policies for documentation, suitability, trade review and approval, best execution, and disclosure of conflicts of interest. Route client-facing and public-facing materials — presentations, written communications, and marketing content — through the firm’s compliance review process prior to use. Maintain working familiarity with SEC and state requirements applicable to registered investment advisers, including the Investment Advisers Act, Form ADV and Form CRS disclosure obligations, Regulation S‑P privacy standards, the SEC Marketing Rule, and the firm’s Code of Ethics and personal trading policy. Keep accurate books and records of client communications and recommendations to support recordkeeping and audit requirements. What You’ll Need Financial Planning Experience — Required This role requires deep, demonstrated command of financial planning — not general familiarity. You should be able to lead an unscripted planning conversation across every discipline below, recognize where the technical edges and trade-offs sit, and know when to bring in a specialist. Candidates without substantive, hands‑on planning depth across these areas will not be a fit. Retirement and distribution planning — accumulation through decumulation, Social Security timing, pension lump‑sum versus annuity elections, sequence‑of‑returns risk, and sustainable withdrawal design. Tax planning — marginal versus effective rate analysis, Roth conversion strategy, tax‑efficient withdrawal sequencing, capital gains and loss harvesting, AMT exposure, and coordination with clients’ CPAs. Investment planning — asset allocation and asset location, risk tolerance and capacity, rebalancing discipline, cost basis management, and concentrated position strategy. Executive compensation and benefits — RSUs, ISOs and NSOs, ESPP, non‑qualified deferred compensation, 10b5‑1 plans, net unrealized appreciation (NUA), and employer plan design at large corporate employers. Insurance and risk management — life, disability, long‑term care, and liability coverage analysis, along with existing policy review. Estate planning and wealth transfer — titling and beneficiary design, revocable and irrevocable trusts, gifting and exemption planning, charitable vehicles, and multigenerational coordination. Education funding — 529 plans, funding trade-offs against competing goals, and financial aid fundamentals. Cash flow, liquidity, and debt — household cash flow modeling, liquidity event planning, and borrowing and mortgage strategy. Plan construction and delivery — building a defensible plan, stress‑testing assumptions, and presenting recommendations in plain language a client will act on. Experience, Education & Licensing Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or Financial Planning preferred. 5–10 years of client‑facing wealth management, private banking, or relationship management experience at an RIA, family office, trust company, bank, or wirehouse. Experience at a high‑net‑worth focused RIA, or serving high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients at a comparable firm, is preferred but not required. CFP® certification required, or active candidacy with completion expected within 12 months of hire, supported by firm sponsorship. CPA, CFA®, CPWA®, or CIMA® also valued. Eligibility to register as an Investment Adviser Representative — Series 65, or Series 7 and 66, or a qualifying professional designation that satisfies the state examination waiver. Prior experience as the primary advisor on client relationships, with direct accountability for advice quality, client retention, and the overall client experience. Demonstrated success building and delivering comprehensive financial plans for affluent and high‑net‑worth households, and retaining those relationships over time. Familiarity with employer plans at energy, defense and aerospace, technology, telecom, or financial services companies is a strong plus. Skills & Attributes Proficiency with financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar), CRM (Salesforce, Wealthbox, Redtail, or similar), and portfolio reporting and rebalancing platforms (Addepar, Orion, Black Diamond, or similar). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex planning concepts simply and with empathy. Exceptional organization, follow‑through, and personal ownership across a high volume of client commitments and competing deadlines — comfortable being the person the client and the firm both hold responsible. Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to staying current on tax law, benefits, and planning technique. Collaborative, humble, and comfortable working cross‑functionally and across multiple offices. Strong in leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for research and productivity, preferred. How Success Is Measured Client retention and household satisfaction across the relationships you lead. Relationship depth — breadth of household engagement, currency of financial plans, and quality of documentation. Technical quality and defensibility of planning recommendations across disciplines. Timeliness and completeness of service delivery and follow‑through on commitments. Adherence to compliance, documentation, and fiduciary standards. Contribution to team development, mentoring, and process improvement. Quotient Wealth Partners offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan with Employer Matching Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays Continuing Education and Professional Development Support, including CFP® and designation sponsorship Licensing, Registration, and Professional Membership Fees Life and Disability Insurance Employee Wellness Programs Hybrid Work Schedule (4 days in‑office, Fridays remote) Quotient Wealth Partners is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and ensuring that all employment‑related decisions are made without regard to race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability (unrelated to the ability to perform job duties), veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.
