Your Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues by interpreting imaging studies and lab results effectively
• Work in harmony with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide valuable support intraoperatively by preparing surgical spaces, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments with precision
• Deliver exceptional care before and after surgery, including administering medications, managing wounds, engaging in discharge planning, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical focus clinical rotations is strongly desirable

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant

Essential Skills

• Extensive knowledge of surgical techniques and excellent sterile practices
• Demonstrated ability to interpret diagnostic tests and contribute to critical clinical decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
