SHIFT

The person in this role will work three 10‑hour shifts from 6:30AM–5:00PM for a total of 30 hours per week. There will be a weekend requirement of 2–3 weekend shifts in a 6‑week scheduling period and holiday coverage of one major and one minor. What You’ll Do Work a hybrid of Radiology Resource nursing and Nuclear Medicine. Float between MRI, ROCU, PET, CT, and IV Cubby providing resource support across Radiology. Respond first to stat or rapid calls, access port, monitor pace‑makers, etc. Perform cardiac stress perfusion studies, stress testing, viability studies, brain mappings, sarcoid studies, coronary CTAs, and thyroid cancer patient prep for iodine therapies. Provide patient care and vital sign monitoring during nuclear medicine procedures. Teach nuclear medicine students the patient‑care curriculum in the allied health program.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Graduate of an approved discipline program. 1 year RN experience. Active RN license. PALS certification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery while anticipating patient care needs. Analyze comprehensive information to determine nursing diagnosis. Evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions. Promote health and maintain a safe environment. Additional duties may be assigned.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

Care Planning: Anticipate resource needs, set priorities, schedule activities, manage multiple assignments with minimal disruption. Nursing Patient Education: Provide patient education at moderate difficulty. Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct primary care patient interviews and physical examinations, recognize problems, and contact interdisciplinary team.
