Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is searching for a dedicated Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Nurse to be part of our amazing team. This position develops, implements and monitors the quality improvement plan for the hospital, which includes evaluating the quality of patient care and patient outcomes as they relate to multidisciplinary interventions and relays the information to the Chief Compliance Officer. The Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Nurse participates in the development and implementation of various activities to improve overall quality of the hospital. When necessary, this position may be required to work holidays and weekends. During onsite surveys, mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Minimum Qualifications

Education: None.

Licensure/Certifications: Current West Virginia license to practice as a registered nurse.

Experience: Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Registered Nurse. Internal Applicants Only: One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Registered Nurse.
