Facility: Marsh Med Ctr Weston Location: Weston, WI Address: 3400 Ministry Pkwy, Weston, WI 54476, USA Shift: Day Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $32.50 - $52.00 Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000 Work Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime shifts 6:30 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary Performs all required ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level. Maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times. Increases understanding and knowledge of vascular disease. Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic vascular laboratory examinations. Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical/pathological images. Responsible for patient safety, mental and physical comfort while in sonographer's care. Responsibilities Perform all required ultrasound and clinical evaluations at a technical level. Maintain a high standard of medical ethics and self‑motivation to increase knowledge of vascular disease. Conduct clinical assessments and diagnostic vascular laboratory examinations. Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical/pathological images. Ensure patient safety, mental and physical comfort during sonographer care. Assist with maintaining laboratory accreditation via ICAVL, ACR, and JCAHO. Establish and maintain ethical working relationships with patients, co‑workers, physicians, and peers. Possess thorough knowledge of cardiac and/or vascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamic principles. Know two‑dimensional color flow and Doppler waveform analysis and understand age‑related protocols for testing. May perform ultrasound procedures for mobile outreach program and at various locations, including driving or flying vehicles and occasional overnight stays. May have access to medications for distribution to licensed personnel. Qualifications Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or two years equivalent experience. Registration or eligibility to be registered with ARDMS as RVT or CCI as RVS. Obtain RVT or RVS within 24 months of hire. Maintenance of a valid driver’s license and good driving record may be required. For work in North Dakota, licensure through NDMIRT Board required if performing medical imaging or radiation therapy procedures. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within six weeks of employment and recertification as necessary.
