About this Position

Position/Specialty: CT Scan Tech

Daily Caseload per tech: 6 per hour

Shift: Will work 3x12hr nights, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7p-730a at ART with holiday rotation

Is on-call REQ? On-call rotation with staff

Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes. May also be required to float to IR

Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes

Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings

Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 1 year experience preferable/6 months level 1 trauma required

First-timers accepted: Yes, if they have previous experience

Cert/Lic REQ: Requirements: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT)

Experience REQ: Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience

Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles

Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate

Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start

RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs

Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
