Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Blue Ash, OH. The ideal candidate will conduct chemical and polymer synthesis experiments to support research and product development while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards .

Rate Range: $41/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Conduct wet lab experiments involving chemical and polymer synthesis to support research and development projects.
• Prepare, handle, and evaluate chemical formulations, resins, and laboratory solutions while adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform chemical characterization and material testing using techniques such as FTIR, DSC, titration, and structure-property analysis.
• Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot formulation or reaction issues, and provide technical recommendations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test methods, protocols, reports, and validation records.
• Support compliance activities, GMP requirements, equipment/process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and overall laboratory operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in chemical/polymer synthesis, formulation development, and laboratory testing within R&D or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with chemical characterization techniques such as FTIR, DSC, titration, and polymer structure-property analysis.
• Experience working in regulated laboratory environments with GMP compliance, technical documentation, and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Pay Details: $41.00 to $45.00 per hour
