This hands-on opportunity allows you to work alongside experienced Product Safety Engineers and Laboratory Technicians, gaining valuable technical and project management skills in a collaborative lab environment.Please include a resume and a cover letter with your application.**What You’ll Do*** Shadow Product Safety Engineers and Lab Technicians to learn the product certification process and standards.* Contribute to lab efficiency initiatives, including the development and automation of test forms.* Apply basic electrical theory while exploring new technologies and innovative testing methods.* Assist in preparing certification documents and other CSA-related documentation.* Think creatively to improve testing and certification workflows.**What We’re Looking For*** Currently enrolled in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program.* Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, team-oriented lab setting.* Able to submit a resume and unofficial or official transcript.* Authorized to work in the United States.**What You’ll Bring*** Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.* Attention to safety requirements and familiarity with 5S principles.* Self-motivation, accountability, and a proactive mindset.* Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.* Eagerness to learn and grow technical knowledge.* Organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.* Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.### *CSA Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
