About the Role The Banquet Captain plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of banquet events within hospitality venues across the United States. This position is responsible for overseeing banquet service staff, coordinating event logistics, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction throughout each function. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in banquet or event service, preferably in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and banquet operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Experience with event management software or banquet management systems. Leadership training or supervisory experience in a hospitality environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to food service.
