We're seeking an Intake Specialist to join our growing team at Furman | Honick Law, a top-rated trial-focused personal injury and medical malpractice firm serving Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. Our attorneys are known for client-centered service and relentless advocacy, and we need someone who shares that commitment to quality client care.What You'll DoAs the first point of contact for many prospective clients, you'll help ensure that every caller and visitor feels welcomed, informed, and supported.Key Responsibilities:Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails, routing inquiries to the appropriate team members.Support the client intake process, including gathering initial information and documenting case details.Greet clients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor.Schedule and coordinate appointments and manage attorneys' calendars.Assist with general office tasks, including mail distribution, supply orders, and maintaining a welcoming reception area.Provide basic administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including preparing and transcribing legal documents when needed.Handle additional support tasks as assigned to keep the office running smoothly.Who You AreExcellent communicator: strong phone presence and written communication skills.Organized multitasker with attention to detail and professionalism.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.Team player who offers help proactively.Prior customer service or legal office experience is a plus, but not required.Why Join UsAt Furman | Honick Law, we focus on cases that matter - from car accidents and slip-and-fall injuries to complex medical malpractice and wrongful death actions.
