Berrien Oaks Nursing & Rehab is looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Wound Care Nurse who takes pride in helping residents heal, stay safe, and feel supported. In this role, you’ll be the clinical leader for wound care, guiding treatment plans, collaborating with physicians, and educating staff to ensure the highest standards of care.

What You’ll Do

• Provide advanced wound care for high‑acuity residents , including complex dressing changes and detailed assessments

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all wound care interventions

• Communicate directly with wound physicians to ensure coordinated, effective treatment

• Update and manage resident wound orders

• Establish and oversee restorative nursing programs (walk‑to‑dine, ROM, splinting)

• Develop individualized wound care plans and monitor healing progress

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal outcomes

• Educate nursing staff on wound care protocols, prevention, and best practices

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia RN or LPN license

• Experience in wound care management (WCC or similar preferred)

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Commitment to delivering exceptional care to high‑acuity residents
