Pharmacist Address: Bentonville, AR Job Description: Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately, maintaining confidential patient records. Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns to ensure safety and legality. Advise patients about medication usage, potential reactions, and answer their questions. Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications, including storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions. Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters. Prepare sterile solutions and compound medications for external or internal use following proper procedures. Critical Information Shift/Hours: M-F 9-5:30/6; weekends once every 3 weeks; on-call optional (low phone volume) Remote/On-site/Hybrid: Onsite Environment: Pharmacy setting; supervision of pharmacy staff; maintaining inventory Educational Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy degree required Licensed by the state pharmacy board Benefits Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
