Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a skilled nursing facility in Lawrence Township, NJ as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide rehabilitative care for patients in subacute and skilled nursing settings. This role supports a fast paced environment with rehab tech assistance and use of facility EMR systems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active NJ Physical Therapist license required to begin the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in subacute, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or assisted living facility (ALF) settings preferred. Experience with UDS or NetHealth EMR systems preferred. Ability to work at a fast pace and manage typical SNF caseloads. If applying as a PTA, willingness to have PT cosign documentation as needed. Preferred Qualifications Previous traveling clinician experience preferred. Experience supervising or collaborating with rehab techs preferred. Assignment Details Schedule: Monday through Friday. Typical hours: approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Patient treatment time: PTs treat approximately 7 hours per day; PTAs treat approximately 7.5 hours per day.
