Travel Certified Surgical Tech Requirements

The surgical and procedural load at IU Health Methodist reflects Indiana's largest hospital — cardiovascular surgery, lung and heart transplant, and ECMO all moving through its ORs, with Level I trauma care running alongside.

• As Indianapolis's largest trauma center, it generates constant CT and diagnostic-imaging work and a full trauma-OR schedule.
• Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, heart and lung transplant, LVAD, and ECMO create high-complexity OR and perfusion-adjacent cases.
• Cardiac cath and electrophysiology run through the cardiovascular program for cath-lab and CV techs.
• Imaging spans CT, MRI, interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound, with neuro-interventional volume through the Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Pathology and labs operate at referral scale.
