Plant Operations Manager

Position: Facility Operations Lead Location: Abernathy, Texas Job ID: 176378 Job Overview: The Facility Operations Lead will serve as the senior facilities authority on-site, focusing on power, cooling, resiliency, and building readiness. This role is critical for ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of the facility, particularly in data center environments. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage critical facilities operations, including power and cooling systems. Ensure building readiness and resiliency to support operational demands. Provide expertise in cooling systems, with a strong preference for liquid cooling experience. Collaborate with teams to maintain and improve data center performance. Work across multiple locations, including Abernathy, TX, and Buffalo, NY, as needed. Qualifications: Extensive experience in critical facilities and building engineering. Proven track record in data center operations, with AI data center experience preferred. Expertise in cooling systems, particularly liquid cooling. Experience with companies such as Equinix, colocation providers, Switch, or CyrusOne is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple facilities and adapt to evolving operational needs.
