Proofreader Marchon's client is hiring a proofreader to join their team. This is a full-time onsite position in Syosset. Required skills include: Proofreading skills (review documents for grammar, spelling, and style) Basic graphic design skills (which include making modifications to existing documents or setting up simple business cards and letterheads) Flexibility and ability to multi-task or switch between work quickly Attention to detail Deadline-oriented Desktop publishing tools and graphic design software knowledge Time-management skills Communication skills (answer calls from customers and provide updates on job status) Proficient in Microsoft Office Computer literate (will need to work on different platforms) Check jobs that are printed to ensure that everything is printed correctly
