You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide compassionate customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and policy compliance while maintaining a professional and compassionate presence. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
