Day shift: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to obstetrical patients and their newborns in a fast-paced, high-risk environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including assessment, monitoring, and performing interventions as necessary.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries, including circulating for C-sections and recovering C-section patients.
• Maintain and monitor central lines and administer anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, and insulin drips.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and discharge teaching to parents.
• Assess and address newborn needs, including phototherapy and thermoregulation.
• Support breastfeeding and lactation needs of new mothers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP.
• Current NY RN license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate.
• Experience with Allscripts is preferred.
