Therapy Motion Rehab Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Sanford, Florida. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation center in Sanford, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal physical function in accordance with physician referrals.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical conditions, utilizing diagnostic tests to determine their functional abilities and tailoring interventions accordingly.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in executing therapeutic procedures while ensuring adherence to established care plans.
• Perform manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the application of physical modalities such as traction and massage to enhance client recovery.
• Evaluate and modify orthotic and prosthetic devices, collaborating with physicians to ensure proper fittings and adjustments are made.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to review client progress, discuss case management strategies, and enhance overall treatment quality.
• Instruct clients and their families in therapeutic exercises and care techniques, enhancing their understanding of the rehabilitation process to promote independence.
• Regularly assess the home environment to make recommendations that facilitate rehabilitation and patient autonomy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the clinic by sharing feedback and participating in training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, predominantly those dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Proven clinical experience with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred.
• Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and a thorough understanding of physical rehabilitation strategies.
• A clean professional record, free of disciplinary actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation center or acute care setting is advantageous.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary treatment planning and execution of evidence-based practices.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
