Hoxton Circle is partnering with a long-established, privately owned radio and digital media group to hire an Account Executive. This role suits someone who wants to build their own book of business and have more creative input than a typical sales job offers. You find the clients, design the campaigns, write the copy, and see each one through to air.
The role
You will build and manage your own accounts, working with local businesses to create radio and digital advertising campaigns that actually work for them. Clients come to you for ideas, and you take them from first conversation through to a live campaign. You will report directly to the COO.
What you'll do
- Prospect and build a client base through warm and cold outreach
- Develop marketing campaigns and present them to clients
- Write commercial copy and run basic marketing research to support your pitches
- Manage billing for your accounts
- Represent the stations at live events and remote broadcasts
- Grow both traditional and digital revenue for your clients and the company
What you'll need
- At least one year of sales experience involving cold calling
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A good driving record, as you will regularly visit prospects in person
Nice to have
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience selling advertising or media
